Euro Duathlon results: GB elite medals (UPDATED)

The 2010 ETU European Duathlon Champs are taking place this weekend in Nancy, France. Despite a primarily 'developmental' team, without any of our top elite tri(du)athletes such as Tim Don, Will Clarke and defending champion Cat Morrison, there are still several chances of medals in the Junior, Under-23 and Senior categories. Not forgetting the age groupers of course, who as usual make up a large GB team and will doubtless record another significant haul.

We said in the weekend preview "don't rule out the chance of an athlete or two on the elite podium", and well, looks like we were correct on that score.

Senior Elite

TriGold scheme athlete Katie Ingram has added European silver to her British Elite Duathlon gold, backed up by a bronze medal for the back on form Kat Grimmett. Full results HERE.

Lois Rosindale has taken the bronze medal in the Under-23 ladies category, while 2008/2009 World Junior Champion Sophie Coleman finished fourth. Full results HERE.
