The latest variation in long course racing will kick off in the US on May 6th with the inaugural Triathlon One O One being held in Bradenton, Florida on May 6. Britain will be well represented with both Bella Comerford and Leanda Cave set to race in a pro field that includes Nina Kraft and Lisbeth Kristensen. Kraft is only one of three women to break the nine-hour barrier at the full Ironman distance.

The Triathlon One O One series launches in Bradenton, with additional qualifying races in Clear Lake, California on June 10th, Halifax, Nova Scotia on September 2nd and ends with the championship in The Woodlands, Texas on November 11th. The 101.06-mile events are a re-working of the classic Nice distance long course and consist of a 1.86mi (3km) swim, followed by an 80.6mi (130km) bike and an 18.6mi (30km) run.
