Impsport says:

The Impsport DryCore Cycling Jacket is fully waterproof and breathable for maximum comfort and protection from the elements. Taped seams repel water and the dual-layer windproof fabric ensures you stay warm and dry. Hi-Vis fabric and reflective detail for added visibility in all conditions. Ergonomic design especially for cycling.

What we say:

This jacket is built for visibility with reflective piping and detailing visible from all angles and a suitably bright fabric. Zipped areas provide additional reflective detailing to complete the safety aspect.

Next on the list is weatherproofing and the jacket performs perfectly, an internal mesh lining keeps things warm and the breathable outer keeps rain out and allows sweat to pass through to avoid steaming the rider!

The jacket features nice detailing touches such as garages for all the zippers, decent sized zip pulls and elasticated cuffs.

Two rear facing pockets provide ample space for snacks or spare dry kit and there is a chest pocket perfect for a smart phone and it should be nicely protected.

It’s a great jacket for commuting and works really well at keeping the elements out. It folds down quite small and would easily fit into a small rucksack should the weather abate but is not designed to fit in a cycle top pocket. It’s going to be perfect for the long ride where the weather is set in for the day.

I have used the DryCore on lunchtime training rides and it has performed excellently in it’s job.

This is the perfect jacket when you need a little more protection or on the journey to work and as such there are no points of issue here. It performs it’s job without issue and feels like a good solid quality item. It’s been through a few washes without issue so far and feels like it should provide many seasons of faithful wear.

The model tested here was the male version and it was well fitted and felt comfortable in the saddle. It also come in a female fitted version.
