You can't beat a win. Philip Graves and Lucy Gossage may have been the athletes most hit by the lack of prize money at TriStar Milton Keynes today, but that didn't stop them displaying their close for dominating wins.

Wire-to-wire / gun-to-tape, however you want to describe it, sums up their racing today.

Phil's finishing time of 3:11:44 is being reported as a best time for TriStar's 1km / 100km / 10km format. While that's nice, I'm sure Phil will be more interested in carrying his form and ability over three/four hours to the full Ironman distance after DNF's this year at Lanzarote and Austria, sandwiched with a win at Ironman 70.3 UK.

For Gossage, this would be an expected win for the fast improving 'Duracell Bunny' who has built an impressive resume this season, including the ETU Powerman European Duathlon title. Her next target is the Ironman 70.3 European Champs in Wiesbaden, Germany - via a trip to the Alps!
