Instant news from Challenge Roth... updates to follow soon.

Just what more is there to say about Chrissie Wellington MBE? How about one iron-distance finishing time:

8:19:13

(That was not a typo!). Chrissie has just totally smashed her own iron-distance world record by a staggering 12 MINUTES AND 46 SECONDS in Roth, Germany - going so fast, she finished (provisionally) SEVENTH OVERALL! Only the three podium finishers, plus Pete Jacobs (AUS), 2009 winner Michael Göhner (GER) and James Cunnama (RSA) crossed the line ahead of her.

Pos Men Women
1st Rasmus Henning (DEN) 7:52:36 Chrissie Wellington (GBR) 8:19:13
2nd Sebastian Kienle (GER) 7:59:06 Rebekah Keat (AUS) 8:50:10
3rd Eneko Llanos (ESP) 8:02:33 Tereza Macel (CZE) 9:09:29

Chrissie stats - because words just aren't enough.

Check out that run split! The Tri247 prediction crystal ball was looking right on track, but - very pleased to say - the Chrissinator ripped up the run course!
