![]() Outlaw 2016: Age-Group records Posted on: Wednesday 27th July 2016 Bookmark This | Print This Page | Send To A Friend | Post A Comment Age-Group records broken at the seventh Outlaw TriathlonGood weather conditions combined with great racing at the seventh edition of the Outlaw Triathlon on Sunday, saw a total of seven Age-Group records broken. Of course, in setting a new overall course record Alison Wilson (Portsmouth Tri), also improved the 25-29 mark, taking just over ten minutes off of the time set by last years race winner, Jenny Latham. Related Article: Walker and Wilson win Outlaw Triathlon 2016Second-placed Susan Fairfax (Crystal Palace Triathletes) smashed the previous 40-44 best by almost 21 minutes, while Vanessa Taylor (Hillingdon Triathletes), in her first iron-distance event, ran from 15th at T2 all the way through to fourth overall, to take almost ten minutes off of the previous best mark in the 45-49 division. Second placer in the 45-49, Kati Pusey (11:20:56), also beat the previous record - but still had to be content with second. The final record broken by the women was Jackie Hardman (Barracuda Tri) in the 60-64 category. She reduced her own record by a further four minutes. Dave 'Deca' Clamp (Knutsford Tri Club) - read more on him HERE - proved he has speed as well as endurance, slicing just 16 seconds off of the previous best 55-59 time, while the ever brilliant Bob Novis (Brighton Phoenix) was more than 11 minutes quicker than the previous 60-64 best.
