![]() Another Bayliss one-two in Lanzarote Posted on: Monday 22nd February 2016 Bookmark This | Print This Page | Send To A Friend | Post A Comment Stephen wins, Bella second in LanzaroteA couple of weeks back we brought you an update from Lanzarote, where Bella and Stephen Bayliss had been in racing action at the Timanfaya Triathlon. That resulted in a sprint-finish second place for Stephen, while Bella managed to go one better and take the win. As we mentioned at the time, the racing scene is now quite extensive on the island with a wide variety of events through the year, and this past weekend it was Sprint triathlon of the off-road variety, at the Nu-Tri-Cross Triathlon. Based at Puerto del Carmen, it's a 750m swim / 20km MTB / 5km run. This week it was the turn of Bella to take second place, the race won by Alena Stevens (SVK), a pro triathlete who spends a significant part of her year based in the UK. Alena finished 15th Pro at the XTERRA World Champs last year.
