Lucy Gossage dominates Ironman UK to take second Bolton victory

Duracell Bunny Lucy Gossage delivers on pre-race favourite expectations to earn a second Ironman UK win with a 33 minutes margin of victory over Caroline Livesey. Gossage also finished ninth overall, including all of the men, thanks to her performance today.

For Livesey, that’s a second Ironman podium finish in her first professional season for, adding to her third place earlier this year at Ironman Lanzarote.

Third place overall was taken by Age-Grouper Kate Comber, who recently won the Bronze medal in her 25-29 category at the ITU Long Distance Triathlon Championships in Motala, Sweden
