The Brownlee brothers, Alistair and Jonathan were two of the star names that appeared recently at the Triathlon Show: London. On the Saturday afternoon of the show I hosted a Q&A session with the Olympic medallists in the Tri Experts Theatre - and we have the full video of the session here for you.

We chatted about a range of subjects including their winter training (and being injury free), their focus on the 2015 World Triathlon Series, secrets (or not) to success, winning the Olympics, the impact of Javier Gomez on their career and much more...

On winter training and current fitness...
"...we've done a lot of quite hard training, we're both 100% injury free, we've both been training well now for a good few months..." (AB)

On (not) running the National Cross Country Championships...
"..unfortunately this year it's not the best preparation for a 5km triathlon in the heat in Abu Dhabi... but once my triathlon career is over, I'm going to do a lot more National Cross Country Champs because it is incredible." (JB)

On the 'secret' to success...
"I wish there was a secret... I wish I could go home tomorrow, do a session and be flying in three weeks time but it doesn't work like that unfortunately. It's just consistency day in, day out and enjoying what you are doing." (AB)

On (not) racing each other in training...
"You realise quickly, if I try and 'kill' him today I'm not going to be able to do my training tomorrow... you have to stick to the training set, and just push each other on the really hard days." (AB)

On winning the Olympic Games
"I always thought that the idea of 'it takes time to sink in' was a load of rubbish... but it did take a few months." (AB)

On moving out of Alistair's house..
"It was a good thing for me, I needed my own space and we actually now have more quality time together." (JB)
