Few things in life are as busy as the Javier Gomez travel schedule. But, just when you think his season might have ended (having tucked away enough Air Miles, Championships, wins and prize money to have certainly earned himself a significant holiday and recovery), having had recent events in Stockholm, Edmonton, Mont Tremblant, Beijing and Nice, he pops up again. And wins, again!

Granted, the travel was probably a little easier this time around as he took the win on Sunday at the 2014 Garmin Barcelona Triathlon ( With World Championship Silver medal winner and countryman Mario Mola racing too, he had a race on his hands but once again prevailed on the run.

Neil Eddy finished 10th (1:48:30) and London Triathlon third place finisher Sam Wade 13th (1:50:08) .

In the ladies race, Eloise Crowley, a previous winner of the Valencia Triathlon in Spain, took third place.
