Australian Brendan Sexton (www.brendansexton.com.au) is no stranger to racing on British soil, and has been a regular feature of the British Triathlon Super Series over the past five years. A winner at the British Triathlon Championships Liverpool in 2013, Brendon was back in the city recently and hoping to defend that title at Tri Liverpool recently - as we now know, Hurricane Bertha ended those ambitions...

In Liverpool I chatted to Brendan about the emerging young talent in Australian men's triathlon, striving to reach the heights of Greg Welch, Chris McCormack, Peter Robertson and other legends from the recent past, changes to his training regime as he looks forward to Rio 2016 and the ever increasing performance levels required to be competitive on the World Triathlon Series.
