With the triathlon season still some way off for the majority of UK-based athletes, plenty of multisport regulars - as we featured over the Christmas and New Year period - are getting their racing fix through road and cross-country running. Across the UK, last weekend was for most areas the County Cross Country Championship weekend, and as usual we spotted a number of duathlon/triathlon familiar names performing well around the country.

Here is a quick summary of some performances we noted by county and if we've missed any, do let us know via the email link at the foot of this article, as we're sure there will be several others to add!

Yorkshire

ITU World Champion Jonathan Brownlee (3rd), Australian international triathletes Felicity Abram (3rd)

Cambridge

World and European Junior Duathlon silver medallist Georgina Schwiening (4th) senior, first Under-20.
