If tomorrow is a big day for our British Elite female triathletes (Saturday 4th August 2012, 9am) it is also a big day for all of the coaches, staff and National Federation supporting them. Three Olympic Games, no British triathlon medals for a sport we have otherwise had continued success in for two decades. We hope that will have changed by mid-Tuesday afternoon.

We interviewed all three of our female 2012 Olympians yesterday - check those out HERE - but we also grabbed a few minutes with Malcolm Brown, British Triathlon's Olympic Performance Manager. As well as talking through the preparations of the GB ladies, we also asked about the condition of the Brownlee brothers ahead of Tuesday's Men's event. Brown, of course, is one of their trusted coaches/advisors based in Leeds.

Has Alistair Brownlee managed to improve further since his domination in Kitzb├╝hel? Yes, he has Malcolm tells us....
